Our expert panelists include:

Sonya Brewer, LMFT, is a trauma specialist and the founder of the Badass Boundaries program for overachieving trauma survivors. Sonya is passionate about helping trauma survivors feel more alive, connected, and authentic in their lives and relationships.

Kalé Woods, LMFT, is a marriage and relationship therapist who specializes in helping clients work through past traumas, understand their family history, and find solution-oriented ways to break barriers to progress.

Kini Chang, LMFT, is the Chair and Core Faculty at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Counseling Psychology Program, Community Mental Health Concentration. At CIIS, she builds a culturally and racially inclusive community of students, faculty, and leadership that embodies diversity and equity. Kini also has a private practice in Oakland, CA, where she specializes in intergenerational and multigenerational familial trauma; transitional struggles and life challenges; anxiety and depression caused by environmental and social impacts; multicultural/racial couples relational therapy; and parental education and coaching on adolescent development and child rearing.

Our discussion will be moderated by:

Kristine Krishnan, is a Certified Divorce Coach and Certified Transition and Recovery coach. Kristine specializes in helping women going through major life challenges such as divorce, career change, and dating. She provides a safe space for gaining clarity and reducing overwhelm, enabling clients to create actionable goals and build the life they desire on the other side of the transition.
